OK. Now they are working. A quirk of WordPress is, evidently, when you start writing a post, that post has a hard-coded date stamp that has nothing to do with your settings. So the post where I announce that I’ve turned comments back on, does not allow comments because I changed that setting after I started writing.
I am probably not a fool. That was odd behavior.
But anyone can now comment. Moderation is off. I’ll simply flag and delete spammers.
Oh, and by the way, I’ll be archiving most of this site’s posts. Stories and art. That is our future.
Looks good. I see you installed Akismet. That should keep most of the bad guys out.
