Camp Lockett in Campo, California is where I am spending the night. It is an old ranch that hosts PCT hikers. They have experienced people who give talks and a pancake breakfast. Also, bathrooms and a charging station. Camp Lockett is now a non profit event place. And they still do horses.
I will talk more about this starting place, but for now, I just wanted to reassure people that though I was fainting on the trail — four times — I am totally OK. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I gained a lot! And wow, the people! My tribe. Much love.
