“Kaizen” is a fairly modern business term coinage and not traditional Japanese.
So I hear.
But its meaning is “small effort, repeated.”
Perhaps it was some nerd at Toyota who came up with the expression in corporate lit seventy-five years ago. Maybe even it was popularized as pseudo magic Asian philosophy in the West later,
But it is what I have been practicing, pseudo or not.
