Echoes

I mentioned the echos in which people simply repeat what they think is common knowledge. You find this all across academia, let alone people chatting on a bus. People are constantly quoting and misquoting what they think is common knowledge. This is what gives the illusion of vast knowledge. But in fact, it is the same data repeated, and little of it has been verified.

Mainly, these so-called experts are largely repeating themselves and each other. Our libraries are filled with the words people repeating each other.

That is why I say it is possible for one person to know all the knowledge of the world. It is not because they are brilliant; it is because there is so little knowledge.

The trick is not memorizing anything but to see when to throw refuse out, and, mainly, our knowledge of everything is garbage.
